    New Website Address

I've changed the Domain Name of my website, because cjb.net, on a windows 2000 computer has all types of pop-ups, I think that's bogus... so I changed to Dyndns.org. my website is now accessible using any of the following websites:

    http://webguy.homeftp.org/
    http://webguy.serveftp.org/
    http://webguy.servegame.org/

I will continue to use cjb.net for another few weeks until everybody's links are moved to one of these three addresses. If there are any more, I'll let everybody know.

I was looking at my cell phone bill... Cingular charges 0.20¢ if you don't have the area code on the phone number of a non-cingular customer, they call it international text messaging... how stupid....

although I do have 1,354 rollover minutes that I can use, over 22 hours of talking and I wouldn't have to worry, not to mention the additional 450 minutes I have for this month.... don't think I have to worry about getting off of the phone...

I just got my bill for last month today, it's now the 11th, the billing cycle ends on the 23rd... hmm.... 18 days to get it... and it's due next week.... they can't blame the holiday.... that's always completely wrong....

School was ok, I didn't do a whole lot, I think I'm going to take the midterm sometime soon... it's a simulator so it shouldn't be too difficult, it's only setting up 3 routers to communicate together.

    typosquatting

Interesting word I found, technology related of course:

typosquatting: the practice of preying on typographical errors to expose users to computer viruses and other malicious software, including, but not limited to, adware, spyware, and malware.

so be careful when typing in web addresses.

well today at work I managed to get all of the Eola Lab pc's updated with automatic shutdown.... I hope it worked....
I just checked and it did.... so good... now to do the rest of the pcs...

well I managed to go to tigerdirect today, I didn't get anything for myself... I did however buy erin a new cd-rw drive... she's going to take her PC to school with her... so she might buy a flat panel... I suggested that she go ahead and buy one... I still need to order a black floppy drive for her computer though....

I want to build another computer to house my website, including this blog... so I don't know if I'll get around to it... I'm going to go and price it out right now... probably around 600 or so... probably more... I'll let everybody know..

    errr.....

Ok, why does it seem as though I keep getting bombarded by projects and never being able to finish a single one... Ihad a 45 minute vent session with Beth about my frustration of having way too many projects with no priority list... so I'm now getting frustrated and irritated at the lack of organization... hopefully it will change soon...

I changed the salmon color Jewel... so let me know what you think of the colors now...

    computer updates

Today at work I spent 5 hours updating computers... I should've known this was coming.... but I fixed 3 computers during that time... that includes windows updates, multi-lingual office updates, and copying the entire drive contents twice...

After work I headed to my friends' house to fix his dad's computer... it had some nasty spyware... took 5 1/2 hours to finally get rid of... talk about horrible....
