Way back in 2014, I wrote a post about the Halloween movies that I tend to watch around this time of year. A couple years ago in 2016 I even did an update that included some additional movies. It"s now been two years beyond that and it is time for another update. As with the last few posts, the movies fall into a few different categories. These are: Parodies, Zombies, Diseases, Horror, Super Natural, Aliens, and "Other". This is by no means a comprehensive list, nor do I end up watching all of these movies every year, but I do tend to watch a bunch of them.
In my last post there were a few "honorable mentions". These were "Fido", "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil", and "Zombeavers". As mentioned in my last post, I have seen all three of these movies, but they have not yet made into the rotation. Still none of these have made it into my standard rotation. There are a couple of movies that I have watched, which will likely not make it into regular rotation. These are "Evil Dead" and "Return of the living dead". The first one is just not my thing. "Return of the living dead" was more entertaining than "Evil Dead", but I am unsure about watching it again.
In my last post I also mentioned that there may be some additional ones in the future, but I had not yet watched them. These possible additions were: "Navy vs. Zombies", "Scout"s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse", and "Warm Bodies". I have watched only one, "Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse", and it has made it the list. The new movies are denoted with a *.
