So, Apple had their annual MacWorld Expo today... where they announce new products.... The following things were announced:

New iMacs using the Intel Core Duo processors

Both of the new MacBook Pros have a new type of power connector which is held in by magnetics, so if you accidentally pull on it, it is supposed to release... we'll see how it goes...

Apple Also updated their Operating System to Version 10.4.4... so it can handle the new Intel chips.

The MacBook Pros are not shipping until February which will give them time to see how many people really want the MacBook pro computers.
The iMacs are shipping now.

Steve Jobs also announced that their entire product line will be updated this year... meaning all of their products will be getting the Intel Chips..

With the switch from the PowerPC to the Intel Chips, there needs to be emulation software so the old programs can run on the new Intel Chips... this will aid in the transition between the different chips. It's not seen yet how well the emulation will work, but Jobs' stated that Photoshop will not work that well on it... for occasional use the emulation will work well, but for professional use it will not.

Apple also announced a new product for the iPod Nano and iPod Video, an FM Tuner so you can listen to Radio stations using your iPod... the only problem is that this only works with the iPod Nano and iPod with Video. This however does not ship for 3 - 4 weeks, according to the Apple website.

Some things that were expected, but not announced are:
The Tivo killer--- Mac Mini with Intel chip that would be a media center PC
An update to the iPod Shuffle line, possibly adding a screen
A memory upgrade to the iPod Nanos and iPod with Video
